Seniors Awarded Future Energy Solutions Scholarship

Representatives from Future Energy Solutions were at Saint Raphael Academy to award the first annual Future Energy Solutions Scholarship to two seniors for their commitment to academic excellence.

Daniel Gold, Founding Partner, and Art Davis, President of the Education Division, presented $3,000 scholarships to Neneh Barrie, of Pawtucket, and Destiny Mercado, of Central Falls, for tuition at the Academy.

Mr. Davis said that Saint Raphael Academy is the first school in New England where FES completed a lighting upgrade, so offering a scholarship at the Academy just made sense. “It’s a great way to give back and enhance these students’ futures,” said Mr. Davis. The company now serves 24 dioceses in 14 states with energy efficient lighting solutions.

FES plans to support the scholarships annually, and recipients will be chosen based on their overall academic record and financial need.
