SRA's First Grandparents Day a Big Hit

Our first Grandparents Day had an overwhelming turnout on Thursday, Oct. 4. More than 230 grandparents (and even a few great-grandparents) and students attended a special Mass, where Principal Dan Richard welcomed our guests and noted the special bond between grandparent and grandchild—and how the best part is spoiling them! Mass ended with the presentation of flowers to all grandparents.

The grandparents and guests were thrilled to have the opportunity to see the school and spend time with their own special Saint. All enjoyed a continental breakfast reception in Alumni Hall and the chance to meet some of their grandchildren’s friends. Families also had a special portrait taken to commemorate the day, and all grandparents will receive a copy.
