Saint Raphael Academy Welcome to the Saints family. Welcome home.

Service

Through its Campus Ministry and Lasallian Youth programs, Saint Raphael Academy offers students the opportunity to live out the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, “whatever you do for the least of my brothers and sisters, you do for me.” (Matthew: 25)

Opportunities for Service:

  • Liturgical Ministry
  • Social Justice Team
  • Service Project Team
  • Community Service Trips
  • Monday-Friday After School Service Opportunities

Where Do We Serve?

The Lasallian Youth service project program offers students the opportunity to be of service in the local community. Whether students prefer spending time with older adults, serving meals or working with younger students, Lasallian Youth service projects are the ideal way to reach out in service to others.

Service is completely voluntary! Students can choose to take part in one service project or volunteer at a particular site, or variety of sites, many times throughout the year. Some Saint Raphael students make regular commitments to particular projects and volunteer all year, while other students volunteer for one particular season or as they have time in any given week.

Projects include:

  • Pawtucket Soup Kitchen
  • After-school programs at local schools
  • Daycare facilities
  • Nursing home visitation

In addition to ongoing service projects, students also participate in social justice events such as:

  • Thanksgiving baskets
  • “Saints for Tots” Christmas Toy Drive
  • Homeless Sleep Out
  • Charity walks
  • Pro-Life: Gabriel Project
  • Lasallian Twinning with our sister school in Kenya, Africa
  • CRS Operation Rice Bowl
  • Legislative Advocacy Project
